TV
You can block adult content and hide adult channels by changing the parental lock settings on your Freeview box or TV.
But there is no current plan to include pin protection within Freeview.
How to hide or block content
The process for doing this varies according to which box or TV you have. For full instructions on how to hide or lock adult-themed channels, it's best to check the user manual for your equipment.
If you can't find the user manual, make a note of the model number and search on the manufacturer's website; most have individual manuals that you can download or read online.
If yours doesn't, it's best to contact the manufacturer directly, or ask at the retailer where you bought your device.
Updating parental settings
You'll need to re-activate the parental settings every time you retune your Freeview box or TV.

Pin protection
While there's no current plan to include pin protection with Freeview, if you have Freeview Play you can set up pin protection within the Parental Control section of each individual channel's player. Here are links to their support pages in case you need more help.
