Some, but not all, of the channel players let you restart live programmes.
BBC iPlayer’s Live Restart feature, for example, lets you jump back to the beginning of a programme without having to wait for it to end; you just need to press Watch from start.
ITV Hub also offers this option (you'll be shown a series of adverts before the programme actually starts) and All 4 will be launching it soon – we'll keep you posted.
To restart live programmes for BBC iPlayer and ITVX, go to the Freeview Play apps page and find the programme you want to watch.
