TV
The number of Freeview channels available at your address depends on the transmitter you receive your signal from. It also depends on your equipment – for example, if you want HD TV then you'll need an Freeview Play device.
To check which channels are available to you at your address just enter your postcode in our Freeview Channel Checker. It will also tell you where your nearest transmitter is.
How the Freeview checker works
The Freeview Channel Checker gives a good indication of whether you’ll be able to receive Freeview and what channels you'll get.
But do bear in mind that it's a prediction based on an area of 100 square metres around your address. There's a small chance that some addresses in that area can't receive Freeview because of their exact location and other elements of local geography, such as tall buildings, trees or hills.
APP
There are a few reasons for this. Not all Freeview channels have their own apps, and even if they do have one, they might not have live content that we can link to. Also not all programmes are licensed to be streamed via mobile.
We’re working on this, though, and will let you know when we've brought more partners on board.
