From the 31st May there will be a transmitter closure test at the Glespin relay site between 09:00 Friday 31st May and 18:00 Monday 03rd June 2024. This test is being conducted by the transmitter operator Arqiva, on behalf of Freeview and the TV broadcasters (BBC, STV, ITV, Channel 4 and Five) in your local area. The test is aimed at identifying the extent of interference issues to Freeview transmissions from a local windfarm.
What to Expect
Temporary service disruptions in The Glespin area.
Viewers will lose all Freeview signal from the Glespin relay transmitter site for the duration of this test.
