West

The West TV region will switchover to digital TV in 2010, at which point the whole region will get Freeview. Digital UK will be writing to everyone in your region before the signal switches to digital to keep you posted on what's happening.

Here's the timetable they've given us of when your local TV transmitter will switch to digital.

March - June 2010
Bristol Ilchester Crescent Transmitter

Serving parts of Bristol
The switchover process will start on 24 March and complete on 7 April 2010.

Bristol Kings Weston Transmitter

Serving parts of Bristol
The switchover process will start on 24 March and complete on 7 April 2010.

Mendip Transmitter

Serving parts of Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Bristol
The switchover process will start on 24 March and complete on 7 April 2010.

April - June 2011
Ridge Hill Transmitter

Serving the Cheltenham and Gloucester area
The switchover process will take place April to June 2011.
