Wimbledon
BBC Two: Today at Wimbledon 8pm
We're back off to SW19 for this year's Wimbledon chanpionships and British hopes are once again resting on Andy Murray.
Last year's truly memorable fortnight culminated in one of the best-ever men's finals in which Rafael Nadal finally dethroned Roger Federer after nearly five hours of high-quality, pulsating tennis.
It has always been a tradition at the All England Club for the defending men's champion to open proceedings on Centre Court – weather permitting. But with the world's most famous tennis arena now boasting a new roof, world No. 1 Rafael Nadal knows that he will begin the defence of his title at 1pm today, come rain or shine.
Let's hope that come the end of the tournament on 5th July, the long wait for a British champion is over...
